Twelve at Christmas
A brand new anthology of short stories, inspired by the lyrics of the popular Christmas song, ‘The Twelve Days of Christmas‘. This collaboration with best-selling crime author, Christoffer Petersen, delves deeper into aspects of many of the characters from his Greenland novels and series, as well as characters from the Sussex Crime Mysteries. The stories span different timelines – some looking back into the past of a character, others looking far into the future. The spirit of Christmas shines out from the stories, which transport the reader from the far south of England to the furthest reaches of the Arctic.
The Tapestry Bag – the first book in the Sussex Crime Mystery series, which features young librarian and amateur sleuth, Janie Juke, who uses all she has learned from her hero, Hercule Poirot, to solve crimes and mysteries.
Lost Property is the second book in the series, where Janie takes on her first paid case.
In The Invisible Case we meet Janie’s aunt Jessica, as she returns from Italy with a enigmatic stranger in tow.
Divided we Fall is a short novella set during the first Christmas following the start of the Second World War. Readers will meet Janie’s father, Philip, when he was just a lad.
More than Ashes is the second novella in the Sussex Crime Mystery series, set during 1941, when Tamarisk Bay is struggling with bombing and looting.
In The Forgotten Children a woman’s search to find her son uncovers the shocking truth about one of Britain’s darkest periods.
